MENtal Wealth
Peer Support Group for Men
From an early age men are conditioned to believe that expressing their feelings is out of character with the male identity. Yet the preassures of the modern world for men are ever increasing.
MENtal Wealth Group is a support group for men who are feeling overwhelmed, and are struggling to navigate their way through life. It’s a place where you can learn to communicate your emotions and shared experiences.
Taking care of your mental wellbeing is a powerful act.
The group meet every second and fourth Wednesday each month from 7pm – 8:30pm at at the Elephant Rooms, 36 South Street, Dracott, DE72 3PP
Group Facilitator – Stuart Dare
The Groups offer peer to peer support and are not about talking therapy. If any members need aditional support, they are encouraged to seek that from other agencies. A good starting point for this would be The Derbyshire Recovery and Peer Support Services web site.
